ORIGINS
I began my life long relationship with music when my mom forced my brother and I into the church choir. We were also dropped off at old Mrs. Miller's house once a week to learn how to play the piano against our wills. For this, I am eternally grateful to my parents who shared their love of music with me. After elementary school, I joined the middle school band and ended up playing euphonium for about six years. I even endured marching band as part of James Madison High School's Pride of Vienna.
CATSCAN
Catscan is a fully functional three piece band from Vienna, Virginia. These guys rock in a pop way, but enjoy experimenting with unusual instrumentation and minimalist arrangements. Self-taught and utterly isolated, they churn out melodies and hooks in the most earnest fashion imaginable.
INSTRUMENTS
I can sing and play the guitar, accordion, euphonium, keyboard, cornet, recorder, trombone, and xylophone.
